As part of a Medley of Textiles course I ran recently, we needlefelted these jolly owls. 

Visited this wonderful tapestry in Chichester Cathedral, designed by John Craxton.  His paintings etc can also be seen until April 2024 at Pallant House Gallery, Chichester.  Well worth a visit!

I decided to try scrolling the warp to produce a 3D effect.  I'm fairly happy with this first attemp!

We spent a lovely day needle felting teddy bears at the Weald and Downland Museum where we also met the "teddy bear ladies" from The Repair Shop who came to admire our work!
